For once getting up early pays off. Visiting Montauk harbour in the morning is one of the best things to see. The fishing boats are packed full of fresh fish from the sea and are being unloaded to lorries and containers for the restaurants and markets.
Right on the doorstep was a small fish market and restaurant called Gosman’s fish market where the freshest seafood is available.
