Westport to Greymouth, The Great Coast Road, New Zealand

Any driving holiday should (try) and always involve one of the recommended top drives of the world. For this reason, we couldn’t miss the Great Coast Road of South Island. The drives (along State Highway 6) takes you down a section of the West Coast passing Paparoa National Park and Punakaiki Pancake Rocks, then finish at Greymouth. We didn’t stay long at Greymouth, even though it is the largest town on the West Coast, as we passed onto the stunning Lake Brunner. Words can’t really describe this route, so a series of ‘out the window’ pictures will explain the views.
