Arthur’s Pass, New Zealand

This is the route cutting from the west coast at Greymouth across to the East coast at Christchurch, passing Lake Brunner (if going the scenic route). The drive takes you up and over the mountains on the road or you could choose the famous 223.8km scenic journey by the Tranz Alpine train.
Arthur’s Pass village feels like an real alpine area with a few snow capped hills in the summer months, chalet style cafés and numerous walking route then run up the mountains for even better views.IMG_7994.JPG
